Terms of Service

This is the current product-policy draft. Obtain Nigerian legal review before public launch or commercial sale.

Escrow

Funds are held in the Overcast wallet and order escrow flow until the buyer confirms receipt or an administrator resolves an eligible dispute. Overcast is not a bank or a deposit-taking institution.

Buyer and vendor responsibilities

Users must provide accurate information, use lawful payment details, communicate honestly, and fulfil or receive orders as agreed. Vendors must not list illegal, counterfeit, stolen, unsafe, or misleading goods.

Disputes and finality

Open a dispute before escrow is released and provide truthful evidence. An administrator may refund the buyer or release funds to the vendor after review. Released transactions may not be reversible.

Fees and withdrawals

The current platform fee is 1.75% on successful escrow releases. Withdrawal timing depends on review and payment-processor/bank conditions.

Suspension

Overcast may suspend accounts or remove listings for fraud, abuse, prohibited goods, or policy violations. Keep an appeal/support process and retention policy before launch.
